Traditional Stair Runner Installation – Stoke, Plymouth
We recently completed this elegant staircase installation for a client in Stoke, Plymouth, using a classic stair runner design. The herringbone-patterned carpet, finished with a sleek blue edge binding, adds both character and durability to this period property.
Traditional stair rods in a warm brass finish were used to secure the runner in place, giving a timeless, well-crafted look that complements the home's existing features — including the antique grandfather clock visible at the landing.

Staircase carpet in Peverell
We recently completed this elegant installation of a natural fibre carpet for a customer in Peverell, Plymouth. Staddon Heights

We used engineered wood flooring throughout this project. Clients often enquire about the benefits of engineered wood flooring over laminate. While it comes at a higher cost than laminate, it's more affordable than solid wood and boasts a notably longer lifespan.
Engineered wood flooring can endure anywhere from 20 to 100 years with proper maintenance, whereas laminate typically needs replacing every 10 to 20 years.
Carpet on a staircase
The project involved fitting a Margot Selby Stripe stair runner. The carpet brings a modern twist to a timeless classic by cleverly blending colours and scales, resulting in a balanced collection of stripes that complement each other seamlessly.
